The Trip: Palm Springs Magic

Spring Break is right around the corner and what better place to spend it than in Palm Springs! Pam was just there with friends from college. Here are a few spots we don’t want you to miss!

The Parker Palm Springs: Read HERE to see Jonathan Adler’s amazing remodel of this iconic hotel. Be sure to have your photo in front of the white wall, grab a drink at the hidden wine-bar, Counter Reformation and, of course, dine at Norma’s for some potential star sightings.

Holiday House: This 28 room hotel has recently had a complete overhaul and is the place to stay in Palm Springs or at least try to get in to check it out (it’s often taken over for private events). The interior designer Mark D. Sikes has spun his magic to create this whimsical, mid-century inspired communal atmosphere (no televisions in the rooms) boutique hotel.

If you can sneak it in, be sure to visit the Estrella Spa at the Avalon Hotel. Enjoy a massage and then have lunch poolside at the hotel’s restaurant, Chi Chi.

Where We Stayed: We rented this through VRBO. Click HERE for the link. It could not have been any better. It’s located minutes from everything and the property manager, John, was so great. He had a bottle of bubbly and coffee waiting for us and was so helpful and knowledgable.
